Meet Kate

Hi there! I’m Kate, a proud mum of two boys – one a first team player at Huddersfield Town and the other a second-year scholar at Ipswich Town. They’ve been mad about football since they were very young, spending nearly a decade at a Premier League academy. When both boys were released from the club at 16, I took on the challenge to find new clubs to continue their journeys.

Having gone through the release process twice, I’ve learned a lot and realised how much I have to share with other parents and families facing similar situations. Many parents find themselves unprepared for these transitions and unsure where to turn for support. I know first-hand how lonely and overwhelming it can feel.

With a background in young people’s health and wellbeing, along with qualifications in teaching, coaching, and mentoring, I’m here to offer an ear, swap stories, and share advice. Whether you’re dealing with starting out, release, scholarships, loans, or any other challenge along the way, I’d love to chat and support you on this journey.
