In this clip, Sarah and Steve Morris explain how they never felt confident about all the different things that could affect their son James on his journey to stay in one club and go all the way. They really did understand the odds were against it. They had seen good players come and go.
They were also clear about the pyramid of football and how difficult it would be to reach the top, but they helped their son remain grounded, made sure he focused on his education and he always did what he could to make himself a better player.
