February Newsletter: 2026 Let’s go!

Hello No1Fan family!

We’ve hit the ground running this year and I wanted to share a quick update on what we’ve been up to and how you can get involved over the next few weeks.

Our first Live Q&A of 2026!

Parents joined us from across the UK and the US, showing up with real questions and real situations they’re dealing with at home, and that’s exactly why we created these sessions, so you don’t feel like you’re figuring it all out on your own.

If you’re not a COMMUNITY MEMBER yet and you’d like to join us for these FREE Q&A sessions and discounted workshops, you can sign up to the community here: 👉 Join the community

Book a 1:1 session for tailored support

Sometimes you just need someone who understands. Our 1:1 sessions connect you with experienced parents and mentors who know the realities of grassroots and academy football.

Whether you are feeling overwhelmed, facing a tricky decision or simply want a sounding board, these sessions give you space to talk, get clarity and leave feeling better equipped to support you child.

February Focus:
Online public Workshops

Alongside all the academy work we’re doing, I know not every parent can get to an in‑club session. So this month, we’ve opened up two online public workshops and you don’t need to be part of a particular club or academy to attend, just bring yourself, your questions and your curiosity.

Moving from Grassroots to the Academy:
(15 February @6pm online)

This one is for you if your child is in grassroots or pre‑academy and you’re starting to hear words like “trial”, “signing” or “they’re interested in him/her”. We’ll talk honestly about what really shifts when a child steps into the academy system – the schedule, the expectations, the family juggle – and how you can look after your child’s wellbeing (and your own) while keeping some balance with school, friends and life outside football.

If you’re sitting there thinking, “I just want to know what we’re walking into,” this is the session.

Finding  the Right Agent: What Parents Should Know
(19 February @6:30pm online)

This workshop is for parents whose children are starting to stand out – maybe in non‑league, maybe in an academy, or you’re just very aware that people are watching your child play. We’ll get into what agents actually do, the rules around them, what good practice looks like, red flags to watch out for, and the kind of questions you should be asking before you even think about signing anything.

Community Members 20% Discount

If you’re already a No1Fan.club Community Member and you’d like to join either of the February workshops, you can get 20% off the registration fee. Once a community member email us at hello@no1fan.club before you book your place and we’ll send you a discount code to use at checkout.

Girls’ academies and what’s next

Another highlight for us has been delivering our first parent session in a girls’ academy this year. We were invited into London City Lionesses academy to work with parents, and Crystal Palace is on the horizon too, which we’re really excited about.

Parents of girls don’t often get the same level of tailored support and we absolutely want to change that, so you’ll see more from us in the girls’ space as the year goes on.

Stay Close

However your child is involved in football we’re here to support you.

If there’s something you’d love us to cover in a Q&A, workshop or resource, just reply to this email or drop us a line at hello@no1fan.club – this club was built for parents like you and it keeps getting better because of your ideas and questions.

Thanks to our members for a great start to the year and to our platform sponsors CADRO for their support 🫶
